One of the things I’ve been focusing on this year is updating and giving some extra love to old posts and recipes, especially the special ones! This recipe for my Dad’s Sunday sauce is an homage to one of my favorite recipes of his and one that’s totally steeped in nostalgia for me! His Sunday gravy is loaded with meatballs, Italian sausage, crispy pepperoni, and mushrooms, peppers, and onions for a truly rich and incredible sauce that’s the perfect Sunday project. I hope it brings you as much love and comfort as it brings me!

This time of year always has me craving something hearty and cozy and this beef stew is it! It's not your average beef stew that only has a smattering of potatoes and carrots, but instead we're packing it with all the winter veggies like parsnips and turnips. It's so deeply rich and flavorful and absolutely must be served with a creamy horseradish sauce!

On a more personal note, I have struggled to want to show up in this space. It's been tough to not connect with my followers, but social media these days feels like a thief of joy. I find myself comparing myself to everyone and then beating myself up accordingly. I'm working to show up in ways that feel good and authentic but honestly it's so hard. I hope to be around more to answer your questions and respond to your DMs, but also never hesitate to email me because I love hearing from you guys.
