1. Brown Butter

Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat and cook until golden brown and fragrant. Click the link below for all my tips on making brown butter. 

2. Mash Banana

Choose really ripe bananas and mash them well with a fork in a mixing bowl. 

3. Mix

Mix in the sugar until smooth. Then Mix in eggs, vanilla, and skyr or yogurt. 

4. Fold in flour

Fold in the dry ingredients and then stir in the cooled brown butter. Fold in the chopped dark chocolate and toasted walnuts. 

5. Bake

Spread the batter in a greased and lined loaf pan and top with banana slices and turbinado sugar. Bake until a cake tester comes out clean.

Done!

Cool slightly before slicing and enjoy warm!
