Step 1

Select your oysters. Head to a reputable seafood purveyor and select your oysters. More on that at the link below!

Step 2

Clean your oysters.  Rinse the oysters under cold water to remove any dirt and debris.

Step 3

Shuck. Follow the step-by-step instructions at the link below on how to shuck your oysters.

Step 4

Mix the Mignonette.  Combine all the ingredients for the mignonette and let it sit for at least 1 hour.  

Step 5

Serve.  Lay oysters out on ice and serve with mignonette, cocktail sauce, and lemon wedges.
