Step 1
Cut fish.
If you're working from a larger loin, cut the fish down into pieces. I love cod, but any flaky white fish will do.

Season fish.
I like to make my own, but you can use store bought seasoning. Coat the fish liberally and let it sit for at least 30 minutes.

Prep skillet.
Blackened fish is so much better cooked in butter. Melt butter in a skillet over high heat until it's foamy and hot.

Cook fish.
Cook the fish for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.

Assemble.
Gently flake the fish into chunks and layer on warm corn tortillas with cabbage, pico de gallo, and sauce. Serve with lime wedges.
