These easy sweet potato fries with chipotle sauce are a delicious and easy side dish! You can serve these up with any main course, but they're especially great with burgers and sandwiches.
3medium sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into matchsticks
2tablespoonsolive oil
1 1/2teaspoonskosher salt
2teaspoonspaprika
2teaspoonssumac
1teaspoonground cumin
1teaspoongarlic powder
chopped cilantro
cotija cheese
Chipotle Sauce
2/3cupgreek yogurt or skyr
2tablespoonsmayonnaise
2chipotle peppers in adobo (canned)
1teaspoonchili powder
1garlic clove, chopped
1 1/2tablespoonshoney
1tablespoonolive oil
kosher salt
Instructions
Sweet Potato Fries
Preheat an oven to 425 F. *
Toss the sweet potatoes with the olive oil, spices, and salt until well coated. Lay the sweet potato fries on a baking sheet in an even layer. You may need to use two trays depending on if you double the recipe.
Bake for 12 minutes, flip, and bake for another 12-15 minutes until the fries are blistered and cooked through. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with chopped cilantro and cotija.
Chipotle Sauce
Combine all the ingredients in a small food processor and blend until smooth. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
