Toss the cherry tomatoes with sliced garlic, basil, and olive oil. Roast until the tomatoes are soft and jammy.
Saute the shallot in olive oil and add the orzo. Toast for 2-3 minutes, stirring often.
Add tomato paste and toss well. Then add the broth and roasted tomato. Cover and cook for 10-12 minutes.
Stir in the cream, butter, and parmesan and season to taste. Serve warm.
