Step 1

Cook tomatoes. Heat olive oil in a skillet and add the tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper--salt helps break the tomatoes down. 

Step 2

Finish sauce. Once the tomatoes have cooked down, add the garlic, tomato paste, and Calabrian chilies. 

Step 3

Cook gnocchi. Cook gnocchi for 2-4 minutes in boiling salted water. Transfer to the sauce with a slotted spoon. 

Step 4

Finish. Add a bit of heavy cream to the sauce and season to taste. Top with burrata, parmesan, and fresh basil. Serve immediately.
