Step 1

Combine the batter ingredients for the dutch baby and blend until smooth. Stir in fresh minced chives.  

Step 2

Preheat a cast iron skillet with butter in the oven, then pour the batter in. Bake until golden and puffed. 

Step 3

While the pancake bakes, make the bechamel sauce. Stir in whole grain mustard and season to taste.

Step 4

Remove the dutch baby from the oven, top with cheese, and return to the oven til melted and bubbly.

Step 5

In a skillet, crisp up the ham and then fry eggs to your desired doneness.

Step 6

Top the savory dutch baby with the bechamel, ham, eggs, and serve immediately.
