Step 1

Whisk together the pumpkin and other wet ingredients with sugar until smooth. 

Step 2

Fold in the flour and other dry ingredients until the batter is smooth and no streaks of flour remain. 

Step 3

Beat the cream cheese and sugar together. Then mix in the rest of the ingredients until smooth. 

Step 4

Pour in half of the pumpkin batter then top with the cream cheese mixture. 

Step 5

Pour the remaining pumpkin batter on top and then bake until a cake tester comes out clean. 

Step 6

Let the cake cool, then invert onto a plate and top with the maple glaze.
