Hearty Beef Stew

A simple and cozy braised beef stew that's easy to make!

Step 1

Season cubed beef chuck with salt and pepper and then brown in a dutch oven with oil. 

Step 2

Remove the beef, then saute the onions, leeks and garlic.  Add the aromatics and the flour. 

Step 3

Stir in the wine and beef stock and the seared beef. Add the fresh herbs and transfer to the oven. 

Step 4

Remove from the oven, stir in the veggies and return to the oven for another hour. 

Step 5

Let the stew rest for 30 minutes before serving. Top with horseradish cream and herbs.
