Step 1

Saute the onions and herbs in butter until softened and lightly golden brown. 

Step 2

Layer the croissants, ham, cheese, and onion in a 9x13 greased baking dish.

Step 3

Whisk or blend the eggs, half and half, dijon, and whole grain mustard until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.

Step 4

Pour the custard over the croissants and soak 30 minutes. Bake until golden brown.
