Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together all the marinade ingredients until smooth.

Step 2

Toss the cubed sirloin steak in the marinade, cover, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, up to 24.

Step 3

Layer the marinated steak onto skewers with pieces of red onion and shishito peppers. 

Step 4

Grill the steak kabobs for 4-5 minutes per side and brush with the reserved marinade until cooked to medium.

Step 5

Let the steak kabobs rest, then top with fresh herbs and a squeeze of lime before serving.
