Step 1

Season the short ribs and sear them in a dutch oven with a bit of neutral oil. 

Step 2

Add some butter to the pan and saute the veggies until tender and browned.

Step 3

Whisk together the cranberry juice, beef stock, dijon and beef bouillon until smooth. 

Step 4

Add the short ribs back to the pan with the herbs and braising liquid and cranberries. 

Step 5

Braise until the short ribs are fall apart tender and the liquid has reduced.
