1. Cook Cranberries

Combine cranberries, sugar, water, vanilla, and Grand Marnier in a sauce pan and simmer until cranberries are soft and liquid has almost all evaporated.

2. Brown Butter

Melt butter in a sauce pan and cook, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and fragrant. Full instructions for browning butter at the link below!

3. Mix Batter

Whisk wet ingredients together in a bowl and then fold in the dry ingredients. Mix until there are no streaks of flour and batter is smooth.

4. Top and bake!

Spread the batter in a 10" cake pan and top with the cranberries and streusel. Bake at 325 F for an hour and 15 min. Low and slow keeps the cake perfectly moist!

5. Slice and Serve!

Cool the cake on a wire rack to room temperature and then slice and serve!

Serve with a light dusting of powdered sugar!
