Puff Pastry Cream Cheese Sugar Egg Yolk Almond Extract Vanilla Cranberry Sauce Powdered Sugar Milk

Step 1

Prep the puff pastry.  Defrost the puff pastry and cut into rectangles. Score a smaller rectangle inside. Set aside. 

Step 2

Make the filling  Blend the cream cheese with egg yolks, sugar, vanilla and almond extract until smooth. 

Step 3

Pipe on the filling.  Pipe the filling inside the scored rectangle. Repeat with all the pieces. 

Step 4

Add cranberry.  Divide cranberry sauce evenly between the danishes. Brush the edges with egg wash and sprinkle with sugar. 

Step 5

Bake.  Bake until golden brown. Cool for 10 minutes then drizzle with glaze and top with toasted almonds.
