Butter Flour Shallots Garlic Half and Half Gruyere Parmesan Dijon Nutmeg Brussels Sprouts Breadcrumbs

Step 1

Melt the butter in an oven safe skillet and saute the shallots and garlic until soft and fragrant. 

Step 2

Stir in flour and cook for 2 minutes. Then,  whisk in the warmed half and half and cook til thick.

Step 3

Remove from the heat and stir in the cheeses and spices and season with salt and pepper. 

Step 4

Stir in the shaved brussels sprouts and season with a bit more salt and pepper. 

Step 5

Top with breadcrumbs and parmesan and bake until golden brown and bubbly.
