Bourbon Glazed Ham Recipe

Step 1

Prep the ham. Bring the ham to room temp, then peel away the skin, if it's there. Score the ham in a diamond pattern.

Step 2

Bake.  Place the ham in a roasting pan with some water. Wrap in foil and bake until warmed through. 

Step 3

Baste the ham. Increase the oven temperature and baste the ham with glaze every 15 minutes. 

Step 4

Rest.  Bake until the ham reaches 150 F internally. Transfer to a cutting board and rest for 30 minutes.  

Step 5

Slice and serve.  Once the ham is cool enough to handle, slice away from the bone and serve warm.
